Terms of Use

Last updated: August 16, 2026

By using Plotify you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

Who can use Plotify

You must be 13 or older to create an account. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.

Plotify shows events with age restrictions attached where a venue publishes one. That label is information, not a guarantee. Venues set and change their own door policies, and some publish nothing at all. Always check with the venue before you travel.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Plotify. The following are not allowed, anywhere in the app — messages, party names, party descriptions, display names, or submitted events:

  • Sexual content involving minors, of any kind, in any form.
  • Soliciting anyone for sexual contact or images, or pressuring anyone for a home address, live location, or time when they're alone.
  • Harassment, bullying, threats of violence, or hate speech targeting anyone by race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
  • Promoting or selling illegal drugs, weapons, or alcohol to minors.
  • Impersonating another person, or hosting a party under someone else's name or address.
  • Sharing anyone's address, phone number, or location without their consent.
  • Spam, scams, or fake events.

Consequences. Accounts that post this content are removed, permanently. Reporting a message hides it from you immediately, on your device. Once Plotify's online service is live, every report also reaches moderation, is reviewed within 24 hours, and violating accounts are terminated — with no appeal for content involving minors, which is also referred to the appropriate authorities.

Reporting and blocking

Every message can be reported (long-press → Report) and every person can be blocked. Reported content is hidden from you immediately. Blocking is symmetric, immediate, and can only be undone by you.

Plotify also screens incoming messages on your device for a narrow set of patterns — requests for your address, questions about whether you're alone, requests for photos, pressure to keep things secret, and sexual content — and warns you or hides the message. This screening is a first pass, not a guarantee. It runs on your phone, it can be evaded by anyone trying, and it is not a substitute for reporting.

Hosting a party

If you host a party through Plotify, you're responsible for it: who you let in, what happens there, and complying with the law. Plotify shows your exact address only to guests you personally approve, but once you've approved someone, what they do with that address is outside our control.

Don't host at an address that isn't yours to host at.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give Plotify permission to store and display it to the people you chose to show it to — nothing more. We don't use your messages to train anything, sell them, or show them to advertisers.

The event listings

Event information comes from public venue calendars and ticketing services. It can be wrong, out of date, or cancelled without notice. Plotify doesn't sell tickets, doesn't run these events, and isn't responsible for what happens at them. Verify anything that matters — the time, the price, the door policy — with the venue.

No warranty, no liability

Plotify is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Plotify isn't liable for what happens at an event you found through it, at a party you attended or hosted, or through contact with another user.

Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending your access

You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account. We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, immediately and without notice where the content involves minors.

Changes

Material changes will be noted in the App Store release notes of the version that makes them.
