Do I need an account?
No. Browsing events, saving them, and asking to come to a party all work without one. An account only adds: saves that survive a reinstall, friends, and messages.
Why can't I see a party's address?
Addresses unlock when the host lets you in. Ask to come; once the host approves you, they can share the exact address and directions. That's not a bug — it's the reason hosts trust the app with a party.
Someone sent me an invite link. Do I need the app?
No. The link opens right here in the browser and shows the party. You can ask to come by just typing your name — your reply travels back to the host as a link, and nothing you type is sent to Plotify's servers.
How do I report a message or block someone?
Long-press any message → Report (it's hidden for you immediately). In a DM, use the ••• menu → Block. Blocking cuts off contact in both directions and can only be undone by you. Until Plotify's online service launches, reports protect your own view; once it's live they also go to moderation and are reviewed within 24 hours.
Why don't my friends see that I'm going to something?
Check Account → Privacy → "Share my plans with friends". Only friends you've accepted can ever see your plans. (Friends and plan-sharing travel between phones once Plotify's online service launches; until then they work on your own device.)
An event's details look wrong or it was cancelled.
Event data comes from venue calendars and ticketing services, and it can lag or change after we collected it. If something looks wrong, use the contact below. Always confirm the door policy with the venue — "Age N/A" means the venue didn't publish one, not that everyone gets in.
How do I delete my account?
Account → Delete account. It's immediate, permanent, and removes everything attached to the account from the server.
